I am a Lecturer in the Cyber Security Science Department at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, where I teach and guide research on human-centered security solutions. My work focuses on critical areas like Privacy and Security, Digital Forensics, and Human Factors in Cybersecurity, alongside a growing emphasis on Artificial Intelligence.
My research aims to enhance cybersecurity awareness and develop culturally relevant, user-centered training tools — particularly for Nigerian contexts. I have led impactful projects, including ScamNada, a dynamic anti-scam framework for digital banking users, and a ransomware awareness game designed to improve user resilience to cyber threats.
My research has been published in international journals and conferences, with applications spanning mobile banking security, digital forensics, and critical infrastructure protection in Nigeria.
A dynamic anti-scam framework and gamified awareness approach for digital banking users in Nigeria. Researches scam techniques and builds educational tools for user-centric scam prevention.
An interactive mobile game that simulates real-world ransomware incidents to prepare users with practical decision-making skills against evolving ransomware threats.
Reviewed and evaluated 18 police-assisted mobile applications to assess forensic soundness and proposed a forensic-process model for the Nigerian Police Force.
Conducted forensic analysis on mobile banking applications of top Nigerian banks in partnership with NITDA, uncovering significant user data retention vulnerabilities.
